Lush Parkhill Development in Bratislava

I chose this example of urban planning because it has a number of new ideas that would help a future vision planning projects analyzed, transformed and executed. First I liked the idea of eliminating autovehicle circulation inside the assembly by implementing underground parking and automotive peripheral access. The compound is exclusively dedicated to residents and visitors.

Another strength of this proposal is to generate public indoor activities dedicated to both residents and passers-by who has the primary purpose of the idea of socialization and community development needs.

Using a highly landscaped green spaces and left so free is an advantage both for the community and ecology need to develop leisure activities outside the home in an urban outdoor space conducive to evolution.

Due to the high degree of green spaces was selected using a series of houses on several levels to free up more materplan site.
What I  don.t appreciate this proposal is how it is structured dwellings location. Since when is a central ideal is that all people benefit from it. And from my point of view there are many blind spots, places where people can not enjoy the same extent as those how live in the fitting center.

A new mixed use project near downtown Brataslava. The site sits adjacent to the Bratislava's urban forest and has been used as an open-air amphitheater. Working with 2ka landscape architects, Nice Architects came up with a suitable design that provides high-density housing while maintaining a lush, park-like atmosphere for use by area residents.

The plan calls for a series of dense buildings with underground parking on the perimeter of the site. The project consists of 60,000 square meters (645,835 square feet) of new development that will house 350 apartments as well as administrative spaces, a hotel, and other public facilities. The proposal balances the need for dense housing and high-quality public spaces. Renderings of the project indicate that it will include green roofs, courtyards, gardens and vertical gardens.

The Parkhill location is currently an open-air amphitheater in Bratislava, Slovakia near the city centre and an urban forest. The development will be located on a steep slope, which will help to discourage heavy traffic. The southern part of the site has a small park that will remain as public green space. The hill has nice views of the city and is uniquely located to enjoy a bit of nature as well as a the urban life.

In conclusion, I believe that this example has more strengths than weaknesses, and presents a series of detailed explanations that seem to be molded on site requirements and the idea of collective housing in a new area proposed.
